oat silver earrings

Reflecting on the subject of Small Gestures, these earrings were made for an exhibition so are a one off design. These earrings are a nod to the botanical form of the oat plant and how food always brings people together. Asymmetrical elements are joined and combined with subtle movement in the stylised oat grain. Each earring has been hand engraved and oxidised to highlight the fine details.
