Inspired by the prickly pear cactus that covers the Balearic Islands where Susan lived for a short time. This brooch has been hand made and constructed using a repoussé silver smithing technique where detail is stamped from the back to create a textured surface. This brooch has been fitted with a roller catch fastening for secure wearing.
