This beautiful plum spinel has been sourced and cut by an Australian company ‘The Gem Monarchy’ whose cutting centre is based in Sri Lanka. They are the only coloured gemstone merchant in Australia who is an Ethically Accredited Member of the International Coloured Stone Association.

It is a stunning deep plum shade with hues of purple and flashes of pink, saturated in colour. It has a mighty sparkle! This stone would perfectly suit a symmetrical style ring or pendant, or a fabulous asymmetrical or symmetrical cluster design with contrasting colours. Spinel is an 8 on the Mohs scale of hardness, and therefore a perfect choice for a durable ring design.
