This spinel has been sourced and cut by an Australian company ‘The Gem Monarchy’ whose cutting centre is based in Sri Lanka. They are the only coloured gemstone merchant in Australia who is an Ethically Accredited Member of the International Coloured Stone Association.

It is a stunning grape shade with hues of pink and purple, saturated in colour. This stone would perfectly suit a freeform asymmetrical style ring or pendant, or a fabulous asymmetrical cluster design with contrasting colours. Spinel is an 8 on the Mohs scale of hardness, and therefore a perfect choice for a durable ring design.
