This hexagon shaped sapphire is a deep blue with natural shades of light blue banding across one edge. It is a very low profile stone with a broad surface, giving it a big and bold dimension without requiring too much height so it can stay low in a setting. It has lovely regular broad facets, giving it a sequin style glimmer without a ‘bling’ look to it.

This sapphire has been mined in Queensland and cut by Andrew Jarrett.
