This spinel has been sourced and cut by an Australian company ‘The Gem Monarchy’ whose cutting centre is based in Sri Lanka. They are the only coloured gemstone merchant in Australia who is an Ethically Accredited Member of the International Coloured Stone Association.

It is a stunning steely blue grey tone with silver flashes. It has a mighty sparkle! This stone would perfectly suit a freeform style ring or pendant, or a fabulous freeform cluster design. Spinel is an 8 on the Mohs scale of hardness, and therefore a perfect choice for a durable ring design.
